"I was considering changes to my insurance which was with State Farm. After trying to model my changes on the web site and could not I called the office and asked for pricing for one vehicle if I moved my home and three other vehicles off the policy. I received a quote later that day and based on the new premium decided to proceed and move my home and three other vehicles to another Insurance provider as this made the best financial sense. The next day I received a voicemail from the same State Farm office saying they made a mistake and the quote was wrong and needed to be recreated, and the new quote came in significantly higher. How can a regulated insurance provider issue me a written quote one day and then tell me it is not valid the next? I have no issue with State Farm, but having this experience with this Agent’s office is unacceptable."
